Ruby & Florence is named for both grandmothers. Not as a gesture. As inheritance. They carry the joy, the warmth, the ritual of filling a home with something beautiful and intentional. What they built continues here.
It began with the small things — fragrance lingering long after a meal, a room prepared before guests arrived, the quiet intimacy of objects chosen with care. Ruby & Florence was created to preserve those feelings and reimagine them through scent.
Inspired by the lives and legacies of remarkable Black women, each collection is named for a woman whose presence changed history — Harriet Tubman, Ida B. Wells, and Zora Neale Hurston. Their stories shape the emotional world of every fragrance: joy, conviction, hope, warmth, stillness, gathering, return.
Layered with botanicals, spice, woods, and citrus, each scent is designed to slowly unfold throughout the home, creating atmosphere through memory, ritual, and feeling.
